Addiction Support

Our approach is to develop treatment plans that aim to focus on the wellness of the individual as a whole, through evidence-based psychotherapy, tailored to the needs of each client.

Clients do not need a desire to change their substance use or addiction behaviours; They may choose to receive support in other areas of their life such as their mental health, relationships, and self-esteem. This approach recognizes that changes to one aspect of a person’s life can result in positive changes in other parts of their life.

The Teen Health Youth Addictions Counselling Program offers psychotherapy to individuals (12-17 yrs old) who:

  • Are struggling with drug use (including marijuana, nicotine, alcohol, and other drugs) or spending a lot of time online (social media, gaming, internet) and/or;
  • Have struggled with drug use or spending a lot of time online in the past and/or;
  • Are struggling with or have struggled with another person’s drug use or addiction behaviours (such as social media, gaming, shopping, gambling)

    Call 519-253-8481 to schedule an intake assessment.

We are offering counselling services by telephone, virtual appointment, and/or in person.
