Hepatitis C Treatment & Support
Windsor Essex Community Health Centre Hepatitis C Treatment & Support team is a specialized inter-professional team that works collaboratively with healthcare, and social service providers. The goal of the team is to establish support and treatment and to ensure that clients affected with or at risk of acquiring Hepatitis C have access to quality specialised care. Our team helps prevent the spread of the Hepatitis C virus and promotes overall health by providing timely education, testing, support and treatment.

S.T.E.P.S. (Support Through Education Prevention Stability)
Our Addiction Support Workers provide FREE individual and group sessions (ages 16+) to persons affected by substance use (including loved ones).
- 1 on 1 counselling
- Family counselling
- Group support
- Embraces goals of reduction and abstinence.
S.T.E.P.S. welcomes individuals currently on Methadone, Suboxone, and Naltrexone.
We have two primary locations of service but will also meet clients (aged 16+) where they are at within the community.
STEPS outreach at rotating locations:
- Wednesdays in Leamington (12pm-3pm)
- Fridays in Amherstburg (12pm-3pm)
- Leamington Lodge
- Seniors Alternative
- Amherstburg Food & Fellowship Mission
- Naloxone distribution
- snack/water distribution
- 1-1 counselling
- Referrals and system navigation

weCHC on Wheels Mobile Clinic
weCHC on Wheels offers diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions as well as referrals to health care providers in the community. Our weCHC staff are able to provide support, system navigation, and resources on a wide range of health related topics.
Tuesdays from 12:00pm to 3:00pm at 400 Wyandotte St. E. (Water World parking lot)
