Hepatitis C is transmitted primarily through blood-to-blood contact with an infected person. Once someone is exposed to the hepatitis C virus, primarily through blood, the virus can enter the bloodstream and cause an infection. If you have ever come into contact with blood from a person who may have Hepatitis C, you should be tested. For more information or to book an appointment call the Hepatitis C Coordinator 519-962-2284.
